DIANA BURGOYNE
Electronic folk artist and educator at Emily Carr University, Diana has performed and exhibited intsallations in Montréal, Toronto, New York, France, Holland and Estonia.
She created two works for the 2008 Sonic Playground at the Vancouver International Children's Festival.

Jennifer is a flutist and Associate Composer with the Canadian Music Centre who has composed works for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Arraymusic, Four Gallon Drum, Standing Wave, the Vertical Orchestra and Ad Mare Wind Quintet.

Frederick works as a designer in multiple media; graphic, sonic, architectural and interactive. He also makes sound art and music and participated in the 2008 Sonic Playground at the Vancouver International Children's Festival.

Percussionist and instrument builder, Martin has performed across Canada and the United States with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Opera Orchestra, Vancouver Island Symphony Orchestra, Fringe Percussion, Vancouver New Music, Redshift Music Society and Gamelan Gong Gita Asmara.

Artist, illustrator, photographer and animator, Madoka comprises half of the production team Leisure Thief with Lee Hutzulak.

LEE HUTZULAK
Lee is an improvisor, songwriter, artist and studio mastermind who has performed and exhibited works at Open Space and the Fifty Fifty in Victoria, Western Front, BLIM, the Butchershop Floor and the OR Gallery in Vancouver. He performed in the duo Attn: Diamond Shoppers at the 2008 Sonic Playground at the Vancouver International Children's Festival.

BRAD MUIRHEAD
Brad is a trombonist, composer, improvisor, band leader, educator and instrument builder who has performed across Canada and Europe in a variety of ensembles and orchestras for over 20 years. He has performed and recorded with the groups NOW Orchestra, Hugh Fraser's VEJI, Primal Orbit, Brass Roots, Four Head, Hard Rubber Orchestra and others. With Martin Fisk, he co-designed and constructed the Quadrabalarimbamaphone for the 2008 Sonic Playground at the Vancouver International Children's Festival.

Japanese-born Shakuhachi Master, Alcvin has performed with John McLaughlin, Bill Laswell, Kazutoki Umezu, The Vancouver Symphonietta, Huun Huur Tu Mongolian Throat Singers and Uzume Taiko Ensemble.

STEFAN SMULOVITZ
Stefan is a composer, performer, interdisciplinary collaborator and computer software designer who has created works for film, theatre, art installations and DVD-ROMs. Using his own innovative improvising software Kenaxis his works have been performed by the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Turning Point Ensemble, Choir Leoni, Ensemble Symposium, Elektra Choir, Standing Wave and the Sonic Boom Festival.

KIRK WATSON
Kirk has performed bass guitar, electronics and synthesizers with Zimbabwean groups FESO and Chanazukuru and shared the stage with children's performers Norman Foote, Rick Scott, Joe Mock and Shari Ulrich. He has worked with the Vancouver International Children's Festival and helped coordinate the 2008 Sonic Playground tent.
